Nigerian skit maker, Emmanuel Ejekwu well known as Sabinus has reacted after his father was abducted by unknown gunmen.
Sabinus’s father was reported to have been kidnapped last week by armed men in a gun battle that broke out in a clash between the local security team and the kidnappers, leading to the death of an officer at Sabinus’s father’s residence in Port Harcourt.
Reacting to the abduction on his Facebook handle on Monday, Sabinus confirmed he paid for his father’s freedom and stated that it’s possible that those who abducted his father might be his fans.
Sabinus wrote in pidgin English, “Kidnappers wey go carry my papa still fit watch my video dey laugh. This life sha.
“But we bless God for providing unless how I wan pay ransom by now. E for be sorry I for dey hear. Thank you, Lord.”
Sabinus also known as Mr Funny is a Nigerian comedian, content creator actor and skit maker. He was born on January 30, 1995.
