President Bola Tinubu, has joined other Muslim faithful for a Special Jumat Prayer at the National Mosque, Abuja.

In attendance at the special Jummat prayer were the former Head of State, General Abdulsalami Abubakar, the Speaker House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abass, former Vice President Namadi Sambo, and the Etsu Nupe, Alhaji Yahaya Abubakar.

This was disclosed in a post on Friday shared by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.

He posted pictures from the event with the caption, “President Bola Ahmed, His Royal Highness, the Etsu Nupe, Alhaji Yahaya Abubakar; former Head of State General Abdulsalami Abubakar, Speaker House of Representatives, Hajia Tajudeen Abass, and former Vice President Namadi Sambo, during the Juma’at prayer to mark Nigeria’s 64th Independence Anniversary. held at the National Mosque, Abuja.”

The special Jumat Prayer is part of the activities to mark Nigeria’s 64th independence anniversary.

Nigeria will be marking her 64th independence anniversary on Tuesday, October 1.
