President Bola Tinubu has congratulated three young Nigerians for their outstanding achievements at the 2025 TeenEagle Global competition held in London, United Kingdom.

Seventeen-year-old Nafisa Abdullahi Aminu was named the overall best in English language skills, 15-year-old Rukayya Muhammad Fema emerged as the overall best in debate, and Hadiza Kashim Kalli clinched the outstanding talent award, earning a gold medal.

Tinubu in a statement on Wednesday by his Special Adviser on IInformation & Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, warmly praised these exceptional students, stating, “The nation’s future is much brighter with many of its youth as repositories of excellence.”

He also commended their institutions, highlighting that these accomplishments “are a testament to the quality and potential of Nigeria’s education system as a nurturer of some of the world’s brightest minds.”

Emphasising the importance of education in national development, the President noted his administration’s commitment through significant investments and initiatives such as the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND), which seeks to remove financial barriers for indigent Nigerians pursuing higher education.

Encouraging the young champions to continue their educational journey, Tinubu wished them “continued success” and urged them to “remain steadfast in their studies.”
