Tinubu commissions two new military helicopter for NAF

President Bola Tinubu, has commissioned two Agusta A-109S Trekker Power Attack helicopters into the Nigerian Air Force fleet on Friday.
The two new helicopters include: Diamond-62 surveillance aircraft, T-129 ATAK helicopters, and King Air 360i platforms.
Represented by Vice President Kashim Shettima, the President stated that the addition of the helicopters would boost the combat capabilities of the military in the ongoing fight against insecurity across the nation and the wider West African region.
In a post shared on social media by Shettima, the President reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to strengthening the nation’s security through sustained investment in advanced military technology.
It reads, “President #officialABAT, on Friday in Abuja, inducted two Agusta A-109S Trekker Power Attack Helicopters into the #NigAirForce, with a solemn promise that his administration will continue to invest in cutting-edge defence technologies and provide the Nigerian military with the resources needed to end insecurity in the country.
“He expressed confidence that the deployment of the helicopters would add impetus to the combat power of the nation’s military in the ongoing fight against insecurity in Nigeria, as well as across the entire West African region.
“The President was represented by his deputy, Vice President #KashimSM , at the induction ceremony held at the Presidential Air Fleet Apron, Abuja, as part of activities to mark the 61st anniversary of the #NigAirForce.
