Tinubu confers GCON honour on Indian PM

President Bola Tinubu conferred Nigeria’s second highest honour of Grand Commander of the Order of the Niger on Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, while on his state visit to Nigeria, on Sunday, November 17.
Tinubu in a terse statement on Sunday, by his Special Assistant to the President on Social Media, Dada Olusegun, described the Indian PM as a friend of Nigeria.
It reads, “President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Honours Prime Minister #narendramodi.
“Confers him with Nigeria’s second highest honour of Grand Commander of the Order of the Niger (GCON) declares him friend of Nigeria.”
