Tinubu hails ‘future-focused’ UK visit, thanks King Charles III for warm welcome

President Bola Tinubu on Friday celebrated his recent trip to the United Kingdom, emphasising new steps to strengthen economic ties that promise jobs and opportunities for Nigerians.
In a post on X, Tinubu highlighted the visit’s forward-looking agenda.
“Last week in the United Kingdom, we took important steps to deepen a partnership that has stood the test of time.
“But this visit was not about history. It was about the future. Trade. Investment. Jobs. Opportunities for our people,” he wrote.
He pointed to key engagements and signed agreements as building blocks for a partnership delivering “real value for Nigerians.”
Tinubu expressed gratitude to his hosts, stating, “Thank you, Your Majesty King Charles III, and the good people of the United Kingdom for the welcome.”
