Tinubu to attend eighth-day prayer for late Awujale of Ijebuland Sunday

President Bola Tinubu will leave Abuja on Sunday to partake in the eighth-day prayer ceremony for the late Awujale of Ijebuland, Oba Sikiru Kayode Adetona, the presidential spokesman, Bayo Onanuga revealed in a statement on Friday.
The prayer event will hold at Dipo Dina Stadium in Ijebu-Ode, where the President will be joined by Governor Dapo Abiodun and other dignitaries.
“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will depart Abuja on Sunday to attend the eighth-day prayer ceremony for the late Awujale of ljebuland, Oba Sikiru Kayode Adetona, GCON.
“The President will join Governor Dapo Abiodun and other dignitaries at the event, which will be held at the Dipo Dina Stadium in Ijebu-Ode,” Onanuga had written.
Oba Adetona, who passed on July 13 at the age of 91, was laid to rest the day after his death in Ijebu-Ode.
