The Nigerian Presidency has emphasised on Thursday that President Bola Tinubu’s youth empowerment initiatives are inclusive for every citizen, transcending political lines.

Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, highlighted flagship programs like the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) and the Three Million Technical Talent (3MTT) Programme.

“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR’s Youth Empowerment Programmes are for All Nigerians,” Idris stated in the official release.

Over 788,000 students now benefit from NELFUND, with more than N250 billion allocated for tuition and upkeep.

Meanwhile, 3MTT equips participants with high-demand digital and technical skills to boost employability and global competitiveness.

Idris praised the Tinubu administration as “the most youth-friendly in Nigeria’s history,” pointing to strategic appointments of young leaders, expansive empowerment efforts, and economic gains.

These include slashing inflation to 14.45 percent and bolstering investor trust after Nigeria’s removal from the FATF grey list.

He called on youths to rally behind the President and wield social media wisely: “Urged youths to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR and use social media responsibly to amplify verified information.”
