Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed the immediate sacking of head coach, Thomas Frank, less than eight months after his appointment, as the club seeks to arrest a slump in form.

In an official statement released on Wednesday, the north London club announced the decision, citing poor results and performances as the key factors.

“The Club has taken the decision to make a change in the Men’s Head Coach position and Thomas Frank will leave today,” the statement read.

Frank, who took the helm in June 2025, was given significant backing to rebuild the squad.

However, the board acted decisively amid mounting pressure.

“Thomas was appointed in June 2025, and we have been determined to give him the time and support needed to build for the future together.

“However, results and performances have led the Board to conclude that a change at this point in the season is necessary,” the club noted.

The Danish manager departs with praise for his professionalism.

“Throughout his time at the Club, Thomas has conducted himself with unwavering commitment, giving everything in his efforts to move the Club forward,” Tottenham added.

“We would like to thank him for his contribution and wish him every success in the future.”

No immediate replacement has been named, leaving Spurs fans bracing for further upheaval in a turbulent campaign.
