United States President Donald Trump has issued a warning to Iran on Sunday, demanding the immediate and unconditional reopening of the Strait of Hormuz or face devastating U.S. military action.
In a statement released via social media, Trump said, “If Iran doesn’t FULLY OPEN, WITHOUT THREAT, the Strait of Hormuz, within 48 HOURS from this exact point in time, the United States of America will hit and obliterate their various POWER PLANTS, STARTING WITH THE BIGGEST ONE FIRST!”
The ultimatum escalates tensions in the Persian Gulf, a critical chokepoint for global oil shipments.
Trump’s statement comes amid ongoing regional conflicts, though he holds no official capacity.
