Former President of the United States of America, Donald Trump was seen working at a McDonald’s restaurant in Feasterville-Trevose, Pennsylvania, where he prepared French fries and served customers through the drive-through.
The event was part of his campaign strategy to counter his Democratic opponent Kamala Harris’s claims about her past employment at the fast-food chain.
During his visit, Trump wore a black-and-yellow apron over his suit and engaged with the staff while learning how to fry potatoes.
He was seen in a video dipping baskets of fries into hot oil and salting them before handing them out to customers.
The former President expressed enjoyment in the role, stating, “This is fun. I could do this all day.”
However, his visit attracted a large crowd of supporters and media, turning the event into an impromptu news conference where he fielded questions from reporters.
Trump’s appearance at McDonald’s was also a strategic jab at Harris, who has often referenced her summer job at the restaurant during her college years, claiming that she “worked 15 minutes longer” than she did and labelled her story as “phony.”
