Two individuals declared wanted by EFCC over CBEX fraud

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has declared two individuals, Folashade Odelana and Bamidele Ayodele Abiodun, wanted in connection with a multi-million naira fraud involving Crypto Bridge Exchange (CBEX), a digital asset trading platform.

According to a public notice issued by the commission on Wednesday, both suspects are alleged to have masterminded fraudulent schemes that resulted in major financial losses for unsuspecting investors who traded on the platform.

The EFCC thereby called on members of the public with credible information about the whereabouts of the suspects to come forward, promising that all tips would be treated with confidentiality.

“Anybody with useful information as to their whereabouts should please contact the Commission in its Ibadan, Enugu, Kano, Lagos, Gombe, Port Harcourt or Abuja offices, or through these numbers 09-9044751-3, 08093322644, 08183322644, 07026350721-3, 0706350724-5; its e-mail address: info@efccnigeria.org or the nearest Police Station and other security agencies,” Dele Oyewale
