Unruly passenger on Uyo-Lagos Ibom Air Flight detained in Kirikiri

Tunde Moshood, the Special Adviser to the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, has confirmed that Comfort Emmanson, an unruly passenger on the Uyo-Lagos bound Ibom Air flight, has been formally charged in court and is currently detained at Kirikiri Prison.

Speaking on X, Moshood emphasised the need for the flying public to exercise greater caution and respect during air travel.

He stated, “The more reason the flying public should be more careful. The unruly passenger on Uyo-Lagos bound Ibom Air, Miss Comfort Emmanson, has been charged to court and she’s now cooling off in Kirikiri.”

Authorities are using this incident as a reminder that disruptive behaviour on flights will not be tolerated and that offenders will face swift legal action.

The aviation ministry continues to advocate for strict adherence to safety and conduct regulations aboard all commercial flights.
