Van Nistelrooy departs Man United despite satisfactory performance

The Manchester United Interim Manager, Ruud van Nistelrooy has officially left the club following the appointment of new head coach Ruben Amorim.
This was confirmed in a statement by the club on Monday.
The club described Van Nistelrooy as a “Manchester United legend” and expressed gratitude for his contributions.
“Ruud is, and always will be, a Manchester United legend.
“We are grateful for his contribution and the way in which he has approached his role throughout his time with the club. He will always be very welcome at Old Trafford.” the club wrote.
The Dutchman, who served as interim manager after Erik ten Hag’s dismissal, achieved three wins and one draw in four matches, concluding with a 3-0 victory over Leicester City.
Despite his successful stint, the newly appointed United Manager, Amorim decided not to retain him on the coaching staff.
Alongside him, three other coaches have also departed as the club prepares for a new coaching lineup under Amorim.
