Controversial activist Martins Otse, well known as VeryDarkMan/VDM, has denied the allegations of theft  surrounding the hacking and transfer of funds from the website account of his non-government organisation.

Prior to the allegations, the controversial activist had made a post on his social media accounts, claiming that his NGO, “The Martin Osei initiative”, has been hacked, and a sum of N180 Million has been moved from the account.

VDM stated that one of the suspects had been arrested and the account was frozen.

Following the numerous allegations stirring up from netizens about him being behind the fraudulent act, the activist has taken to social media to clear his name and deny the allegations, stating that he’s not a thief and that money doesn’t move him.

He could be heard saying on video posted on his social media, “My mother didn’t raise a thief, my mother didn’t raise someone that would take advantage of people, I am not like that. You all will see the works and confess with your mouth.

“Do you think I am a thief, it is for the love of the street, I know where I’m coming from,I know a lot of people in the hood are there, are you joking with me, do you not know me? The Man of Integrity.

“Do you know how long it has been since I killed the thirst of money? Money doesn’t move me, you won’t understand, ask everyone who knows me, it doesn’t move my legs, it doesn’t.

“The Money Don Jazzy gave me some days back, ask those around me how it was spent, everyone one them got a part from it, ask them. I’m not bragging, Money doesn’t move me, I don’t see the need for that, if I’ll have money I want to use it to help people.

“I keep saying it, verify me anywhere, and I’m not planning to be a politician, verify me.”
