In a recent conversation with media personality Nedu, he asserted that although a man can truly love a single woman, his biological nature poses challenges to staying sexually committed exclusively to her.

“A man is not built to be sexually with one woman. Heart and love dey with one woman. But sexually, e dey impossible for man. It is the biology of man. And anybody wey wan follow me argue am, fine. Man fit love one woman die, but when it comes to that sexual satisfaction it’s had. Dey seed to plenty, you no fit drop am for one woman, he noted.
2Baba asserted that this behaviour is not simply a personal choice but rather signifies what he perceives as inherent male instincts.
The singer’s remarks have reignited discussions about his complicated marital history.
He wed actress Annie Macaulay-Idibia in 2012 following a lengthy and often tumultuous relationship that attracted significant media spotlight.
Even though they have two children together, their marriage has been marred by allegations of infidelity and internal strife.
Both 2Baba and Annie have openly recognised the difficulties in their relationship over the years.
Earlier in 2025, 2Baba confirmed their separation and revealed intentions to pursue a divorce.
This announcement came amidst rumours suggesting that he is now romantically linked to Natasha Osawaru, a lawmaker from Edo State.
