Nigeria’s golden boy and 2024 African Footballer of the Year, Ademola Lookman, paid a distinguished courtesy visit on Friday to President Bola Tinubu and Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

The celebrated football star presented his prestigious CAF award during the visit in Lagos, marking a proud moment for Nigerian football and leadership alike.

Sanwo-Olu in an X (formally Twitter) post acknowledged the football star handwork stressing that Lookman’s journey has motivated millions of Nigeria youths.

“His journey is a powerful reminder of how far passion, discipline, and hard work can take you. He is focused, grounded, and fully aware of the responsibility he carries as a role model for millions of young Nigerians.

“Thank you, Ademola, for flying the Nigerian flag high and showing the world what we’re made of,” the governor wrote.
