Video: Air Peace flight skids off runway in Port Harcourt

An Air Peace flight, P47190, veered off the runway on Sunday during landing at the Obafemi Jeremiah Awolowo International Airport in Port Harcourt.

The aircraft, arriving from Lagos, had a runway excursion shortly after it safely touched down.

In a statement regarding the incident, Air Peace representative Osifo-Whiskey Efe confirmed that the flight operating from Lagos to Port Harcourt experienced the excursion after a safe landing at the airport.

The statement notes, “Air Peace confirms that its Flight P47190, operating from Lagos to Port Harcourt this morning, had a runway excursion after landing safely at the Port Harcourt International Airport.

“The aircraft veered slightly off the runway without any damage. All passengers disembarked safely and calmly, and no injuries were reported.

“We reassure the flying the flying public of our unflinching commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety in all our operations.”
