United States President Donald Trump has praised the U.S. Navy Football Team—no, wait, the elite Navy operators behind “Operation Epic Fury”—during a White House ceremony on Friday, revealing the devastating toll of recent U.S. strikes on Iran’s military infrastructure.

Speaking to cheers from the honoured team, Trump detailed the operation’s success in decapitating Iran’s command structure layer by layer.

“Their leaders are all gone. The next set of leaders are all gone. And the next set of leaders are mostly gone. And now nobody wants to be a leader over there anymore,” Trump said.

“We’re having a hard time. We want to talk to them and there’s nobody to talk to. We have nobody to talk to. And you know what? We like it that way.”

The remarks underscore the profound leadership vacuum created by the strikes, which Trump said have left Tehran scrambling.

This builds on his March 6 claims that Iran’s army, navy, and communications networks are effectively “gone,” amid escalating U.S.-Iran tensions.

Operation Epic Fury targeted key military sites, crippling the regime’s ability to coordinate responses.

White House officials confirmed the event celebrated the Navy team’s precision execution, signalling a strategic shift in countering Iranian aggression.
