A viral video has captured Nigerian singer and rapper Ahmed Ololade well known as Asake immersed in the spiritual rituals of Umrah at the holy Kaaba in Mecca, Saudi Arabia.
Dressed in the traditional white ihram garment, Asake was seen walking among fellow pilgrims, showcasing a rare glimpse of the 28-year-old artist’s devout faith.
The “Sungba” hitmaker undertook the lesser pilgrimage—known as Umrah—with his longtime friend Rahman Jago in the final days of Ramadan 2026, seamlessly blending his celebrity life with personal devotion.
The footage, shared widely on social media, has sparked massive excitement among fans.
Supporters have showered Asake with affectionate nicknames like “Alhaji,” celebrating his spiritual journey and the cultural pride it brings to Nigerian artists embracing their Muslim heritage.
