The encounter marks a notable moment in Nigeria’s political landscape, drawing attention from both supporters and analysts nationwide. Further details on the discussions and outcomes of the meeting are awaited.
This comes after Obi reportedly submitted his single-tenure proposal to the opposition coalition for consideration.
The National Coordinator for Obidient Movement Worldwide, Dr Yunusa Tanko, disclosed this on Tuesday, while speaking chieftaincy ceremony in Gombe, Gombe State.
Dailyeconomy had earlier reported that the African Democratic Congress (ADC), which has recently been designated as the platform for Nigeria’s opposition coalition, has appointed former Senate President David Mark as its interim national chairman and former Osun Governor Rauf Aregbesola as interim national secretary.
These appointments followed a significant meeting with key figures from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Abuja on Tuesday.
However, at the time of filing this report, the outcome of the meeting hasn’t been revealed.
