This alert was conveyed by the agency’s Director of Media and Advocacy, Femi Babafemi, in a post on his X (formerly Twitter) account on Sunday.
Babafemi referenced a recent incident where a suspect was apprehended at an airport while attempting to transport illegal drugs.
During interrogation, the individual admitted that the luggage in question did not belong to him.
Babafemi expressed on X, “Please listen to the suspect in this video, he was asked if he packed the bag he was carrying he said no, someone gave it to him. As we always warn, never accept to carry a luggage you don’t know its contents if you’re not complicit & an accessory cos #ndlea_nigeria‘ll get you.”
