The three Big Brother Naija Season 10 contestants, Rooboy, Dede, and Joanna, who were previously eliminated through the controversial red phone twist, have returned to the house.

They re-entered on Wednesday night after spending two days in a secret room, where their activities were broadcasted to viewers, in keeping with Big Brother’s signature twist format.
Their eviction on Monday shocked the other housemates when show host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, announced their departure, followed by Biggie’s usual countdown to confirm it.
Rooboy was instructed to leave immediately after he answered the red phone, with Dede and Joanna experiencing the same fate shortly before him.
However, after the Travelbeta task on Wednesday, the housemates were surprised when Rooboy, Joanna, and Dede each walked back into the house one by one.
Their return was met with enthusiasm, alleviating the tension that had built up since their supposed eviction.
Joanna declared she would not be leaving the house until the final day, while Rooboy made his presence felt with dramatic re-entries.
Housemate Sultana later admitted that she had a feeling they would return. The red phone twist is one of Big Brother Naija’s surprise strategies, where housemates who answer the call receive sudden instructions, often resulting in evictions or penalties.
In Season 10, Dede was the first to answer the call on Monday and was directed to name another housemate. She selected Joanna, and both were declared evicted by Ebuka Obi-Uchendu.
Not long after, Rooboy also answered the phone and was similarly instructed to leave the house right away.
The unexpected exit of three housemates left everyone in shock, prompting viewers to speculate on whether the eviction was real.
In previous seasons, Big Brother has employed similar ‘fake evictions,’ placing housemates in secret rooms while allowing fans to observe their actions.
This tactic typically reintroduces drama and alters dynamics when the housemates return.
