Chioma Adeleke, the wife of Afrobeats artist David Adeleke, widely known as Davido, has underscored the singer’s steadfast support for her ambitions.

Chioma, also known as Chef Chi, opened up about this topic in a recent interview with Noire TV.

The couple, who celebrated their traditional wedding in Lagos in June 2024 following a private court ceremony in March 2023, is now preparing for their white wedding in Miami, United States.

Davido previously mentioned that the event will be extravagant, with more than $3.7 million already allocated for arrangements, Dailyeconomy reports.

Discussing her husband’s encouragement, Chioma characterised him as loving and intentional when it comes to her personal development.

She was heard saying, “David cares a lot about my dreams. I’ve faced a lot of challenges over time, but he would always ask me, ‘Chi, apart from all of this, what do you actually want to do?’

“Then we would have plans and have stuff coming out in the next few months. He really cares about my personal dreams.”
