Video: Container tumbles from trailer, leading to lane blockage on Otedola Bridge

A container has fallen from its trailer on the Otedola Bridge towards the Berger direction, taking up one lane of the expressway.

This situation is resulting in considerable traffic jams in the vicinity.
As per a statement on the X (formerly Twitter) account of the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA), efforts have been initiated to recover and remove the fallen container.
Officials are also focused on ensuring the safety of drivers and facilitating smooth traffic movement throughout the operation.
The statement says, “Earlier this morning, a container fell off its trailer at Otedola inwards Berger, taking up a lane in the process.
“Recovery and evacuation to commence soon, as resources have been mobilized to ensure safety, unhindered traffic flow and efficient recovery.”
