This bold initiative aims to transform Nigeria’s fuel supply chain by boosting delivery capacity, improving fuel accessibility, and reducing logistics costs through free product delivery to marketers, petrol stations, manufacturers, telecom firms, aviation companies, and other large-scale fuel users.

The refinery’s plan includes establishing over 100 CNG refuelling stations and a dedicated fleet of additional gas-powered tankers to ensure seamless distribution nationwide.

This move more than doubles the current fuel tanker fleet, positioning Dangote Refinery as a direct distributor and challenging local fuel traders.

The initiative is designed to eliminate distribution bottlenecks, promote energy efficiency, sustainability, and support Nigeria’s economic development, aligning with national reform efforts.

While some local traders express concern over competition, independent marketers welcome the plan, citing potential job creation and improved energy security.
