Last night in Yola, the capital of Adamawa State, Nigerian superstar Davido shut down the massive Mahmud Ribadu Square, filling all 25,000 seats with electrified fans.
The crowd went wild as Davido performed his hit song of the year, “With You,” even inviting a fan onstage to sing alongside him.
Tensions flared briefly when Wizkid’s hit “Kese” unexpectedly played during the concert, prompting a fierce reaction from Davido’s loyal fans.
Adamawa Governor Umaru Fintiri expressed pride in hosting the star, tweeting, “It was a pleasure to welcome the global star, @Davido, to the Government House, Yola. We are particularly glad he chose Adamawa as a key stop on his five-state tour.
“His presence here underscores our progress. It is a testament to our administration’s hard work in ensuring security and our aggressive urban renewal drive that is rapidly transforming the face of our state. We are honoured by your visit.”
