In a post on his Instagram account on Thursday, the 54-year-old shared this information while posting a video in anticipation of his 55th birthday celebration.
Komaiya attributes his longevity and survival to God’s mercy and protection, expressing profound gratitude for the divine help he has received throughout his life.
“My life being a product of God’s grace, is NO FLUKE! The best doctors at University College Hospital, Ibadan told me I wouldn’t live to see 35. Medical records showed severe complications in my liver and other vital organs, and I was told I would end up in a vegetative state. For medical science, it was a closed case but not for God, who specializes in doing the IMPOSSIBLE.
“Today, as I approach another New Year, more than two decades after that grim medical verdict, I stand alive and thriving in grace, delivering on my God given mandate; reforming, rebuilding and restoring.
“I am a beneficiary of God’s mercy and faithfulness, an epitome of one fiercely helped, protected, and backed by the God
“My life is living proof that with God, nothing is impossible!!!” Komaiya had written.
