The duo captivated guests and viewers with their elegant traditional outfits, proudly celebrating Nigerian heritage.

Liquorose turned heads in a richly adorned, beaded outfit, complete with coral jewelry and a regal headpiece, exuding both royalty and cultural artistry.

Prince, a former Mr Nigeria and fashion enthusiast, impressed in a sophisticated embroidered ensemble accented with vintage accessories, echoing his royal lineage.

Their standout looks earned them each a N1m cash prize from Goldberg, after edging out fellow style contenders such as Neo and Venita Akpofure, who also made strong cultural fashion statements.

The Cultural Day event is part of the AMVCA’s week long celebration of African entertainment, leading up to the main awards ceremony.

Notable films like Lisabi: The Uprising, Skeleton Coast, House of Ga’a, and Freedom Way secured multiple nominations, with contenders such as Gideon Okeke (Tokunbo), Stan Nze (Suspicion), and Femi Adebayo (Seven Doors) vying for Best Lead Actor. In the Best Lead Actress category, nominees include Chioma Chukwuka (Seven Doors), Bimbo Ademoye (Anikulapo: Rise of the Spectre), and Uche Montana (Thinline).
