Former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayo Fayose, has officially and publicly announced his endorsement of President Bola Tinubu for a second term in office.

In a political gathering in Ado Ekiti on Monday, Fayose declared, “I hereby endorse publicly without reservation, President Bola Tinubu for a second term.”

This endorsement underscores Fayose’s confidence in Tinubu’s leadership and the direction of the country under his administration.

Furthermore, Fayose extended his support to the current Governor of Ekiti State, Biodun Oyebanji, and his deputy, expressing his backing for their re-election campaigns.

He said “I also endorse our governor, Biodun Oyebanji, and his deputy for a second term,” signaling a unified front within Ekiti State politics.

This endorsement is especially significant as Fayose has been a vocal critic of many political actors in the past and his support could influence voter sentiments in the southwestern region of Nigeria, which is a critical battlefield in the forthcoming elections.
