The Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Olorogun Festus Keyamo, was given a rousing reception at the Sokoto State Government House during his recent visit to commission key infrastructure projects at the Sultan Abubakar Airport.

Among the commissioned works were a newly reconstructed airport access road and a modern VIP terminal building, both aimed at enhancing passenger convenience and boosting the region’s aviation capacity, Dailyeconomy reports.
Keyamo also flagged off the construction of a N1.5 billion VIP lounge, a project being undertaken by the Sokoto State Government to further upgrade the airport’s facilities.
Taking to social media on Sunday, Keyamo’s spokesman, Gbenga Saka, wrote, “The Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development @fmaviationng, Olorogun Festus Keyamo, SAN, CON,@fkeyamo had a rousing welcome in Sokoto State @SokotoGovtHouse during the week when he went to commission some projects at the airport there.”
