A high-level delegation from Nigeria has successfully completed the inaugural direct commercial flight from Brazil to Nigeria.
This significant milestone follows the recent establishment of a Bilateral Air Service Agreement (BASA) between the two countries, which is set to substantially decrease both travel time and expenses.
As reported by NTA, the newly established direct route is anticipated to cut costs and flight duration by roughly 50%, thereby eliminating the necessity for connecting flights through Europe or other African nations.
The post reads, “Nigerian government’s delegation takes a first direct commercial flight from Brazil to Nigeria.
“It’s said that a direct flight reduces the cost and flight hours to about 50%.”
