Video: Five individuals arrested for illegal waste dumping in Lagos

The Lagos Waste Management Authority (LAWMA) enforcement team arrested five offenders for illegally dumping waste along the median at Ago Palace Way, Okota area of Lagos State.

The arrested individuals are Sunday Chidiebere (20), Mr Favour Odoh (20), Mr Daniel Okunola (20), Mr Michael Obi (28), and Miss Amaka Abel (28).

Disclosing the enforcement action, Tokunbo Wahab, the State Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, wrote on X (formerly Twitter), “Early this morning, @Lawma_gov enforcement team arrested 5 offenders for dumping waste along the median at Ago Palace Way, Okota. They have been taken to the Mobile Court at Bolade, Oshodi for prosecution.”

The offenders are scheduled to appear in the Mobile Court at Bolade, Oshodi, where they will face prosecution.
