Video: FRSC preaches patience as unusual traffic gridlock hits Abuja after trailer crash

The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) issued a warning on Monday to drivers about significant traffic congestion on the Kubwa Expressway in Abuja, caused by a trailer accident that has blocked part of the busy thoroughfare.

In a message posted on its official X account, the agency referred to the situation as an “unusual traffic gridlock” and indicated that emergency response teams have been dispatched to clear the roadway.

The memo states, “The Federal Road Safety Corps wishes to inform the public that there is an unusual traffic gridlock along Kubwa expressway caused by a fallen trailer.

“While efforts are being made to remove the obstruction, motorists are advised to be patient and ply the road with caution.”
