Beloved gospel artist Bolaji Olanrewaju, widely known as Big Bolaji, was interred in Ibadan, Oyo State, just days after his passing on April 19 due to a short illness. He was 50 years old.

Funeral services commenced on Wednesday with a memorial and lying-in-state at the Hall of Grace, Jogor Centre. Family, friends, and fellow gospel musicians came together to pay tribute to his life and legacy.
The somber occasion included heartfelt tributes from prominent gospel artists like Tosin Bee, Mike Abdul, Bidemi Olaoba, Dare Justified, and comedian Woli Agba, as they celebrated Bolaji’s impact on gospel music and ministry.
Attendees remained silent as the pallbearers transported his flower-adorned casket into the venue.
An emotional tribute video showcasing his spiritual and musical journey was presented, prompting many to shed tears.
The service concluded with a procession to All Souls Private Cemetery in Ido, where Big Bolaji was laid to rest.
His wife, relatives, and friends stood in quiet reverence as the beloved singer was laid to rest.
