Video: “Has your chaos hit self-talk stage?” Iran slaps Trump

Iranian military spokesperson, Ebrahim Zolfaghari has issued a defiant message to United States President Donald Trump, rejecting claims of negotiation and accusing Washington of self-delusion as Middle East tensions boil over.
The statement, delivered in a formal press video, counters recent US reports of a proposed 15-point deal funneled through intermediaries like Pakistan.
The plan demands Iran’s full nuclear dismantlement and defunding of regional allies—terms Tehran dismisses as ultimatums following what it calls American “backstabbing” after February’s Geneva talks.
“Has the level of your own conflicts reached the stage of negotiating with yourselves?” said Zolfaghari, framing any US-proposed outcome as inherent defeat.
“Do not call your defeat an agreement,” he added.
It painted a dire picture for US ambitions, warning, “There will be no news of your investments in the region, and you will not see the former price of energy and oil.”
“The region is guaranteed by the powerful hand of our armed forces. No one like us will come to terms with anyone.”
Markets reacted with Brent crude surging above $114 per barrel and US bond yields spiking to 5%, signaling fears of disrupted energy supply chains and broader economic fallout.
