At the church service for the funeral of the mother of the ruling APC National Chairman, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda in Jos, President Bola Tinubu highlighted the importance of religious tolerance within his family and the nation.

Speaking at a church service, he stated, “Hate is never an option for us.”
Reflecting on his personal life, Tinubu shared, “I was born into Islam and have remained a Muslim, while my wife is a pastor. She prays for me, and there has never been any conflict between us.”
He further emphasised mutual respect, saying, “I have never tried to persuade her to convert.”
