Nigeria’s controversial singer, Portable has spoken out strongly against the bullying of Kolu, a figure apparently caught up in a social media controversy involving the TikTok community.

In a video that circulated on Thursday, Portable underscored respect and maturity in addressing the situation.
“Kolu isn’t your mate, he’s a man and he’s even older than me,” Portable declared, highlighting the importance of recognising Kolu’s dignity despite his disability.
He further condemned the actions of those bullying Kolu, saying, “You (Peller) and others will be bullying Kolu, slapping his head. He should be returned to me.”
The singer’s comments are drawing significant attention, sparking discussions on social media about respect, age, and the treatment of public figures in the digital age.
“Someone has to speak up for this boy or they will use him for content and when the audience is tired of him, they will dump him and get another person. Someone needs to fight for him to get some bread out of it,” a netizen wrote.
