During the wedding of Nigerian singer, Mr Eazi and Temi Otedola on Friday, billionaire Femi Otedola revealed how he purchased two luxury homes in Dubai to celebrate the special occasion.

He recounted how the idea came about during a trip with his daughter.
Speaking at the event, Otedola said, “I always go to Dubai. So this day, December, two years ago, Temi called me, Papa. What are you doing? and said, Papa, let’s go to Dubai. So we got on the plane.”
While in Dubai, he recounted that there’s been a guy that always been advertising properties for him, he mentioned that the guy has advertised about 70 properties for him in over 15 years but never bought any.
However, he noted that during his trip with Temi, he called the guy and they found a beautiful house where they held the engagement ceremony.
Otedo said, Temi suggested during the checking of the new house, “Papa, you know, I can have my engagement ceremony in this house. Why didn’t you buy it?” Reflecting on that, Otedola said, “I slept over it and said, money you don’t spend is not yours, life is for the living. So I called up the agent. I said, Okay, I’ll buy the house.”
Months later, Otedola was contacted about another newly completed house on the same street by the same agent.
When he showed it to Temi and her sisters, Temi remarked, “Papa you know, this house will be nice for our after-party.”
Otedola added, “Anyway, to make her happy, I bought it on the same street and we had their after-party there.”
The couple (Temi and Mr Eazi) exchanged vows in a private ceremony in Iceland this past August.
On Friday, Temi modified her surname on social media from Otedola to Ajibade, captioning her post with “Mr and Mrs Ajibade,” Dailyeconomy reports.
They had announced their engagement in April 2022, with Temi sharing a video of the proposal on Instagram, suggesting they planned a simple wedding.
