Osimhen in a compelling documentary clip from Unveiling the Man behind the Mask by an X influencer, Smallie said, “It’s a different animal when I’m on the pitch. Sahada olduğumda bambaşka bir duygu yaşıyorum.”
Osimhen explains, “The way I hustle so hard on the pitch—it’s impossible for me not to succeed. I knew I was going to make it. I knew that I was gonna be so big.”
Reflecting on his career journey, Osimhen shares moments of challenge and growth, “From small, I don’t like to lose. Of course, it’s normal. It’s part of the game. If I lose a game, it’s hard for me to sleep. Every accolade that I’ve got, every trophy that I’ve won.”
He also recounts overcoming setbacks, including illness, “I went to a club in Belgium. I was rejected because I had malaria and typhoid. And the first game was against Taiwo Awoniyi’s team. That was the first 12 minutes that was the turning point in my career.”
Closing on a note that captures his approach to life and football, Osimhen affirms, “If I’m stubborn, I’m stubborn in the right way. You can’t cheat me.”
