Grammy-nominated Afrobeats sensation Davido recently took fans on a nostalgic journey, recounting his early days in the music industry and his close ties to iconic duo Don Jazzy and D’Banj.

In a viral video that surfaced, the “Unavailable” singer revealed how between 2007 and 2009, he used to freestyle for the Mo’Hits legends at his father’s Atlanta home—and sometimes ran food errands for them.
“In Atlanta, 2007 or 2008 or 2009… in my father’s house, I was freestyling for Don Jazzy and D’Banj,” Davido shared.
“He sent me to go and buy McDonald’s with my papa car, Rolls Royce.”
