In a heartfelt tribute, the Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun expressed deep gratitude to Awujale of Ijebuland, Oba Sikiru Adetona, describing him as a personal father figure.

“Personally, I am privileged to call Kabiyesi, Oba (Dr.) Sikiru Kayode Adetona, GCON, my father.

“I remain forever grateful to him for always being there for me like a true father in my times of need,” the governor wrote on X.

He added, “I am eternally indebted to Kabiyesi for his open and unwavering support throughout my journey to the Government House. He stood by me, both publicly and privately, with a rare kind of loyalty and conviction that I will never forget.”
