Video: INEC declares PDP’s Oyekunle winner of Ibadan North by-election

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Folajimi Oyekunle, has been declared the winner of the by-election for the Ibadan North Federal Constituency.

On Sunday, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) revealed the final results of the election conducted on Saturday across all twelve electoral wards.

The official announcement was made at the collation center situated at Ikolaba High School in Agodi, Ibadan.

Abiodun Oluwadare, the Returning Officer from the University of Ibadan, reported that Oyekunle received a total of 18,404 votes, thereby winning the election.

Adewale Olatunji, the candidate representing the All Progressives Congress (APC), finished in second place with 8,312 votes.
