In a bombshell leaked video from a closed-door meeting, Venezuela’s interim leader, Delcy Rodríguez confessed to pro-government influencers that United States forces issued ultimatums to top officials following Nicolás Maduro’s precision capture.
Rodríguez, addressing the group after Maduro’s seizure by U.S. operatives, described the shock of the operation’s success.
“The regime never imagined a U.S. intervention in Caracas could be so precise, flawless, and devastating,” she said.
She revealed that she, Diosdado Cabello, and Jorge Rodríguez faced a life-or-death deadline stating, “After Maduro’s capture, Diosdado, Jorge, and I were given just 15 minutes to decide: cooperate with the United States or be neutralized. We had no choice. The threats and blackmail were constant.”
Framing their compliance as “strategic prudence” to safeguard their power and lives, Rodríguez echoed reports of her warning, “They gave us 15 minutes to respond, otherwise they were going to kill us.”
The footage, circulating widely online, emerges amid soaring U.S.-Venezuela tensions.
Maduro’s covert takedown has thrust Rodríguez into the interim role, where she’s now rallying influencers to control the narrative.
