Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya, Central Headquarters, the main operational command for its armed forces including the IRGC, has warned the United Arab Emirates amid escalating tensions over disputed Persian Gulf islands.
Spokesperson Ebrahim Zolfaghari delivered the message during a press conference on Saturday, stating, “In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. As we have previously announced and as we have practically proven, we will target the source of any aggression that occurs against our lands and national sovereignty.”
He specifically targeted the UAE, threatening retaliation over the Abu Musa and Greater Tunb islands, claimed by Iran since 1971 but disputed with the UAE.
“We warn the United Arab Emirates that in the event of any repeated aggression launched from its territories toward the Iranian islands of Abu Musa and Greater Tunb in the Persian Gulf, the Iranian Armed Forces will place the Emirate of Ras al-Khaimah under direct and devastating strikes.
“And victory is only from God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful,” Zolfaghari said.
The IRGC has issued a parallel evacuation warning to Ras al-Khaimah residents, signaling high readiness for retaliation.
This comes amid the ongoing US-Israel-Iran war and raises fears of disruptions to global energy routes through the Strait of Hormuz.
