Darren “IShowSpeed” Watkins Jr. has once again captured the spotlight by winning the Streamer of the Year award for the second year in a row at The Streamer Awards 2025.

The 20-year-old YouTube sensation accepted the honour during the star-studded event in Los Angeles, hosted by QTCinderella, with a heartfelt speech followed by his signature backflip.

Addressing the audience, Speed reflected on his journey, “I want to thank you all. I started this when I was 15, now I’m 20. It’s been a journey,” which was met with enthusiastic applause.

Competing against notable creators like Kai Cenat, ExtraEmily, Jasontheween, and Plaqueboymax, IShowSpeed’s win underscores his rapid ascent in the streaming world.

The event, which lasted over eight hours and featured 35 categories, also saw CaseOh named Gamer of the Year and Kai Cenat earn the Best Just Chatting Streamer award.

IShowSpeed’s growing global fanbase continues to be driven by his energetic livestreams, international tours, football-themed content, and viral online moments, cementing his status as one of the streaming industry’s brightest stars.
