Video: Jigan sues Portable over diss track

Actor Jigan Baba Oja has taken legal action against Nigerian singer Portable following the release of Portable’s diss track titled “Group Chat,” which directly insults Jigan and other celebrities such as actress Iyabo Ojo and Tonto Dikeh.

The song escalates an ongoing feud rooted in a controversial WhatsApp group chat exposed by social media activist Very Dark Man (VDM), linked to the late singer Mohbad’s death and allegations of sabotage against justice efforts.

The diss track accuses the celebrities of coordinating moves against VDM and attempts to undermine the pursuit of justice, igniting strong reactions online.

Jigan’s lawyer reportedly served Portable with a legal notice, but a video showed Portable refusing to sign the letter presented to him, intensifying the conflict.

This lawsuit comes in the midst of a broader controversy involving leaked WhatsApp messages and social media attacks, where Jigan has also faced threats and harassment.
