Former United States Secretary of State John Kerry has disclosed that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu repeatedly sought American backing for military action against Iran, but was rebuffed by three presidents before finding an ally in Donald Trump.

In recent remarks, Kerry stated, “Netanyahu also approached Bush, Obama, and Biden to attack Iran and was rejected. The only U.S. President who accepted these attack proposals was Trump.”

The comments have resurfaced amid escalating tensions in Lebanon this April, following U.S.-Iran ceasefire announcements that have heightened scrutiny on Israel’s long-standing push for U.S. intervention against Tehran.

Kerry’s revelation underscores decades of Israeli efforts to enlist Washington in confronting Iran’s nuclear ambitions and regional influence.
