Lagos State Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, announced on Tuesday the start of enforcement operations at Tejuosho market.

In a post shared via X, Wahab emphasised the importance of keeping public spaces tidy and safe, stating, “Clearance operations have commenced at Tejuosho market to restore sanity and uphold environmental standards in the area.”
He stressed the necessity for orderly public areas, saying, “Public spaces must remain orderly, safe, and free from obstruction.”
Wahab also reaffirmed the state’s commitment to enforcing environmental laws, promising, “We will continue to enforce the law and ensure compliance with environmental regulations across Lagos.”
These efforts are part of the #CleanerLagos and #GreaterLagos initiatives aimed at enhancing the city’s environmental health and public safety.
