Video: Lagos gives reports on Odo Iya Alaro Bridge condition after heavy rainfall

The Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, provided an update on the situation at Odo Iya Alaro Bridge, Maryland, following heavy rainfall early Tuesday morning, September 9, 2025.

Accompanying a video, Wahab stated, “Current situation report on Odo Iya Alaro bridge, Maryland as at 11am today 9th of September, 2025, after the heavy early morning rainfall.”

He thereby praised the efforts of the Emergency Flood Abatement Gang (EFAG) from the Lagos State Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources, highlighting their swift response. Wahab described their work as “a testimony to the great work being undertaken by operatives of the Emergency Flood Abatement Gang (EFAG).”
